Great price…great machine. I’m so glad I have this as a machine to carry around. I keep everything in it so I can write at any time…or do research.
Many flaws on this netbook

I bought two of these netbooks from Amazon, one for my wife and one for me, based on good reviews I read on Amazon. I’m sorry that I took the advice.
Let me share some pros and cons.
PROS:
1. Looks good
2. Decent performance (I can run MS Office on it).
3. Nice bright screen
CONS:
1. Asus boasts 8.5 hours in battery life, I’m lucky to get 5.5 hours
2. The little nubs on the bottom of the netbook needed to keep it from sliding around on a hard surface constantly fall out and need to be re-attached, assuming you can find them. You then need to superglue them back on, which only lasts a week or two.
3. The keys on the keyboard don’t have much depth so the feel is very hard and very “plasticky” (is that a word?)
4. The mousepad has no depth and just some little raised brail bumps with no clear separation of the pad and the rest of the keyboard rest.
6. The keyboard freezes up least once a week.
If I had a chance to do it over again, I would definitely not buy the ASUS EEPC.
Perfect Netbook for on-the-go College Student

With not a lot of room in some college lecture halls, this netbook has really been helpful. Excellent battery life (around 8.5 fully charged). Small enough to fit in my bag. Keyboard size is just right, not too small.
great computer… bad experience with power cord

Basically, the power cord broke 6 days after product was received. After 2 1/2 weeks of dealing with Asus I got a new cord. 5 days after the new cord was received it broke. The whole time I had to deal with Asus, they were not helpful. Luckily Amazon did allow me to return it because I was just within the 30days of purchase. I really hate that all this happened because the computer itself was great! Long battery life, big keyboard (92% the average size), and large screen, and these were the only three reasons I gave it a 2 star instead of just one.

I love this netbook. I was told Asus is agreat buy and good quality. I did a lot of research and this one had everything I needed and wow PINK! Great for surfing the net-very quick. I have linux installed on mine-due to my dislike of windows. Amazon had the best price going. I would encourage anyone to buy asus.
